We are pleased to advise that this year’s annual picnic in celebration of the 51st Anniversary of Bahamian Independence will take place on Saturday, July 6th from 1:00 – 6:00 pm ET at US Coast Guard Base on 7323 Telegraph Road in Alexandria, Virginia.
Join us for a feast of Bahamian food, with portions like grammy’s Sunday dinner, cooked by our very own Bahamian Chef Wildron Knowles, including peas n’ rice, macaroni, conch fritters and more!
We will also have drinks, music, trivia, games and prizes!
The final date for registration for the Picnic was Sunday, June 30th, 2024.
Children five and under will not be required to make a donation but their names must have been emailed to [email protected] by June 30th, 2024.
Given the security requirements for our venue, only those registered will be allowed access to the Base and ID will need to be shown at the venue entrance.
