We are pleased to advise that this year’s annual picnic in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Bahamian Independence will take place on Saturday, July 22nd from 1:00 – 6:00 pm ET at US Coast Guard Base on 7323 Telegraph Road in Alexandria, Virginia.
As we celebrate The Bahamas’ golden anniversary, we will be serving Bahamian food, including peas n’ rice, macaroni, conch fritters and more!
We will also have drinks, music, trivia, games and prizes!
The final date for registration for the Picnic was Friday, July 14th, 2023.
Given the security requirements for our venue, only those registered will be allowed access to the Base and ID will need to be shown at the venue entrance.
We look forward to seeing those registered at the Picnic!
